610: Try For The Family Stone!   616: Muma to Yamikarasu to Yami no Ishi!   Siblings, Sex & Stones          The twerps help a girl help her brother, Brock gets to do stuff   Cart before the horse? They didn't even know they needed a horse!     Bashing your pet bird in the face doesn't endear you to it

Today finds the twerps.... lost. Again.

In a forest.

Again.

As Brock tries to get his bearings, the twerps spot a Murkrow sitting on a branch glaring at them. It flies over their head, which Brock says is a bad omen at night.... till the twerps dismiss both the superstition AND the fact that it isn't actually night at the moment. Just then a screeching, unnatural noise catches their attention as the ground shakes and they look up to see.... HOLY FUCK IT'S GIRATINA!

IT'S MOTHERFUCKING ANTI-GOD! IT'S THE DEBBIL!

Dawn and Brock squawk and run in a panic, and Ash..... pulls out his Pokédex and tries to learn more about it as it storms towards him! Finally even his stupidity is outweighed by the survival instinct though, and off he runs.

The twerps flee till they think they must have outrun THE DEVIL FOR FUCK'S SAKE IT'S THE DEVIL! But then a new rumbling noise catches their attention and they turn to see a huge wave of water rushing down towards them. It catches them and sweeps them away to their death.... or rather, to their scrabbling about on the bone dry ground screaming that they're drowning. A green haired girl arrives and tries to snap them out of it. Finally, Ash hears her and looks up, and the girl explains that it was a Confuse Ray from Murkrow.... and then the illusion fades entirely from Brock's mind as all the blood suddenly rushes out of his head to somewhere else. He grabs the girl's hands and tells her that her beauty is no illusion, then starts babbling that maybe she IS an illusion caused by Murkrow and then.... Croagunk punches him in the ass and drags him away.

That is no illusion.

Dawn apologises for Brock and she and Ash introduce themselves to the girl, named Rhyanna. She lives in a nearby village, and admits sadly that Murkrow belongs to her brother. His name is Mitchell, a trainer like her, and recounts how they used to battle each other but lately he has changed and started acting differently after going up into the mountain to train with Murkrow.... at which point he began performing pranks on travellers. Every time she approaches him to try and find out why he is doing it, he acts all awkward and runs away.

Hmmm... so a young boy living in a remote village with only his sister for company and is reaching adolescence is suddenly avoiding her whenever he can and acting really strangely around her?

Somebody wants to bang hiiiiis sisteeeeerrrrr!

Rhyanna explains that she is looking for a Dusk Stone to evolve her Misdreavus into a Mismagius, as her Grandfather told her that Mismagius can chant a spell that will make somebody happy.

Yeah or she could take one for the team and give him a handjob or something.

Anyways, as Brock declares bravely to Rhyanna that he will help her find the Dusk Stone.... guess who has been listening in! Yep, Team Rocket! Jesse wants a Mismagius that can grant her happiness, and Meowth can agree with the concept of being happy. So Jesse leaps out of the bushes and... begins picking up rocks off the ground, utterly convinced that either one of them will be the Dusk Stone or that they'll all just magically become Dusk Stones somehow.

Guess how that works out, Gentle Dodgers.

Yep.

James has a secret weapon though.... his goddamn bent wire rods! He is convinced these useless old dousing rods will allow him to detect a Dusk Stone. He claims that they will open wide when in the presence of a Dusk Stone, points it at the ground at his feet and declares that since there is no Dusk Stone there and the rods didn't do anything.... then this proves they work!

Oh James.

And Jesse and Meowth are delighted and become true believers immediately!

Oh Team Rocket.

Rhyanna and the twerps approach a shrine in the forest, which her Grandfather told her used to be near a Dusk Stone Mine. Brock tells Ash and Dawn to go off away from him and Rhyanna so he can be alone with her and they don't see any kind of ulterior motive to this and head off alone into the forest together.

Somewhere in Johto, Lyra lets out a short sharp moan and doesn't understand why.

Ash and Dawn's strategy once separated from Brock is to just kind of walk aimlessly through the forest. Dawn has Piplup on her head and tells it to be on the lookout for a Dusk Stone, since it is so small and sitting higher above the ground than everyone else. Murkrow flies in behind them and begins pecking Piplup on the head, knocking it off of Dawn and tumbling to the ground. As Murkrow flies away cackling, Ash has Pikachu blast it with a Thunderbolt before it can cast an illusion on them again, and Mitchell appears from behind a tree in a panic. He scoops up Murkrow and demands to know what they're doing, and Ash snaps back that it was him and Murkrow that ambushed them and demands to know why. Mitchell's response is to yell at them to KNOCK IT OFF (?) and Dawn tells him that Rhyanna is looking for him. He snaps back that she doesn't care about him and Dawn and Ash tell him about her plan to cast a happiness spell on him to enforce a false sense of cheer on him.

Wow, what a swell lady!

Meanwhile, both Brock and Rhyanna and Team Rocket are convinced they're getting closer to a Dusk Stone. James' "Dustox Detectors" are opening wider and wider and he's getting more and more excited, claiming that if they were any closer it would be behind them. Guess what happens next, Gentle Dodgers?

Yep.

After landing, they lay on all fours with their asses in the air (Hey hey!) until they spot the opening to what looks like an old abandoned mine. Convinced they've been lead to the Dusk Stone Mine, they rush to the entrance and... begin crawling around outside looking for any Dusk Stones just lying on the ground OUTSIDE OF THE MINE!

Oh Team Rocket.

As they hunt around, Meowth's addled mind belatedly makes the connection that a successful Dusk Stone evolution of a Misdreavus (which they don't have!) into a Mismagius would make it a perfect gift for the Boss. He rolls on into a patented Crazy Meowth Giovanni Fantasy in which he imagines the Boss bent over the side of a bed.

Well of course he does.

The fantasy involves Meowth rasping out Mismagius' voice as well, and Jesse finally realises that they need more than just a Dusk Stone. They need a Misdreavus in order to get the Mismagius, and James says it would be handy if one was to fly overhead right then. Meowth points out that this is real life... then looks overhead and sees a Misdreavus! As they look up at the cliff which they fell over not so long ago, Team Rocket see Brock and Rhyanna suddenly tumble over the side and slide down the side in a panic.... though Rhyanna has presence of mind to hold her skirt down between her thighs in case her brother is around and gets an accidental glimpse of happiness.

Speaking of Mitchell, he's rushing through the forest chased by Ash and Dawn. Ash grabs Mitchell by the wrist to drag him to a stop, and Mitchell yells that he has to get to the Dusk Stone before Rhyanna. He continues to insist that Rhyanna doesn't care about him, and claims that she wants the Dusk Stone in order to evolve her Misdreavus and ensure that he can NEVER beat her in a Pokémon Battle. He explains that because she used to beat him so easily every time, he went up into the mountains to train with Murkrow, where he threw balls at it to bat aside with its wings in an attempt to learn Wing Attack. However, when all it did was bat them aside, he got angrier and threw the balls faster and faster till they started bopping Murkrow in the head and it got pissed off and flew away, and now it won't listen to any of his commands.

Oh, so he's NOT a desperately lonely freak hungry for incest after all, he's just a really, really, really shitty trainer!

So he isn't responsible for the pranks that have been played, and then declares the whole thing is Rhyanna's fault. Dawn points out that he should be thinking of his Pokémon’s feelings, and Ash surprisingly rips him a new one by pointing out that he is a shitty fucking trainer and a dick and he fucking sucks.

True!

Mitchell is horrified, he never even considered that he might be responsible for his own actions! He begins to cry as he apologises to still unconscious Murkrow for smashing it in the face with his balls (ewww!), and his tears fall on Murkrow's face and wake it up.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket are absolutely adorable, hiding in the bushes from the unconscious Brock and Rhyanna and mumbling amongst themselves about the "tall twerp and taller twerpette" and trying to figure out what to do. While they do this, Brock has no idea what he is missing out on, as Rhyanna lies bent over facing away from him and giving Misdreavus a look at Mecca.

Hahaha, oh Brock, even Misdreavus gets to see more than you ever will!

They both get up and Rhyanna tells him that she has never seen this mine in the forest before (it's not exactly small, for fucks sake!). Misdreavus approaches a large rock and babbles its own name excitedly, and Brock uproots it with a large stick and they find a Dusk Stone underneath.... and Rhyanna is so delighted she actually makes physical contact with Brock!

Misdreavus sniffs around the bushes as Brock is distracted by the feel of breasts pressed against his chest, and then a net wraps around Misdreavus and captures it... it's Team Rocket... and it's motto time!

"We're out of this world, can't you tell by our suave demeanour?"
"Our grass is always greener!"
"On the wind!"
"The stars!"
"Neenah neenah!" laughs Meowth.
"Happy searching at a breakneck pace!"
"Dashing hope with a smile on my face!"
"Joy by any other name's just as happy."
"While you twerps are so sappy."
"Jesse!"
"And James!"
"Meowth's da name!"
"Putting the do-gooders in their place."
"We're Team Rocket!"
"In your face!" they finish together.

In case the motto didn't explain who they were enough, Brock explains to Rhyanna further. He tells her that Team Rocket are a less than successful.... in fact disastrous.... bunch of crooks!

Haha!

Rhyanna demands her Misdreavus back and Jesse refuses (not surprisingly) as they explain that they intend to evolve Misdreavus so hand over the Dusk Stone. Misdreavus tries to rip through the net but Meowth has a switch on the rod that electrocutes it, which is pretty damned effective and surprisingly mean-spirited on Team Rocket's part. Brock calls out Sudowoodo to put paid to them, but Team Rocket STILL have a plan for dealing with them... and it's a big one! Can you guess what it is, Gentle Dodgers?

If any of you replied,"I bet it is a giant mechanical Pidgey!" then you're fucking liars!

Meowth tosses Misdreavus into the Pidgey and then Team Rocket leap inside, Meowth extending a fan out of its back that uses "Gust" to blow Sudowoodo back against the cliff. Sudowoodo charges in and the mechanical Pidgey uses "Sand Attack" by bringing out mechanical arms with a broom and sweeping up sand. Next comes a "Wing Attack" as a Rocket Wing fires out and smacks Sudowoodo in the belly, knocking it backwards. As Brock recalls it, he turns to see Rhyanna clutching on for dear life to the Dusk Stone as a mechanical arm from the Pidgey tries to haul it off of her. The Pidgey lifts into the air and begins to fly away, Rhyanna still dangling from an arm, as Ash, Dawn and Mitchell arrive having seen it flying overhead earlier (and wondering if it was a REAL Pidgey!). Rhyanna, unaware that Mitchell is there (and can see right up her skirt!) shouts at them that she needs Misdreavus and the Dusk Stone to make Mitchell happy (why does she think that Team Rocket knows who Mitchell is?). Pikachu prepares to use Thunderbolt but Ash warns it off in case it hurts Rhyanna, and instead sends out Staraptor to go help her. Mitchell also sends out Murkrow, pleading with it to help Staraptor save Rhyanna, and it actually listens to him. Flying up, it pecks at the mechanical arm as Staraptor grabs onto Rhyanna's shoulders, and as the arm is broken at the "wrist", Staraptor pulls her to safety as she grabs the Dusk Stone before it can fall away.

Team Rocket are horrified and Meowth turns the Pidgey around to attack as Rhyanna and Mitchell are reunited. Mitchell sends in Murkrow to break Misdreavus free by Pecking the glass dome it is sealed behind.

Maybe it would have been better to keep it in a walled in section deep inside of the Pidgey, Team Rocket?

With Misdreavus clear, Pikachu is free to use Thunderbolt as Team Rocket see their inevitable pain coming and.... do you think they're blasting off again, Gentle Dodgers?

Yep.

Rhyanna and Mitchell hug, and for some reason they return down to the Mine Entrance where Brock suggests they actually talk to each other for a change. She asks him what to do with the Dusk Stone since he's happy and they don't need it anymore, and he suggests that they battle and whoever wins the most out of ten gets to have the stone. Rhyanna thinks that is a great idea, since she has NEVER lost a match to Mitchell. Ash - who never calls his mother - thinks it is great that they're close like a family should be - and the twerps are inspired by their desire to battle to continue to do the same themselves.... which they could have done by not getting involved in this retarded family drama and making some forward progress! Ah well, that's the case with filler episodes, and as always, the journey is.... To Be Continued.
