Dodgy Synopsis
Man, that's pretty sad. But not as sad as his face when they reach the Gym at last and... oh my, it's been completely redeveloped and redone into a horrific, garish eyesore. Brock stares at it in horror, lip twitching, face fallen as he takes it all in and then screams out,"WHAT HAPPENED!?!" Brock bursts in the door demanding his parents tell him what is going on, then gets swamped by his siblings - Forrest, Salvador, Yolanda, Tommy, Cindy, Suzy, Timmy, Tilly, and Billy. Max notices that they all look like Brock (being direct blood relations and all!), while the Brocklings explain that three Pokémon Gym remodellers asked Mum and Dad if they want to bring the Gym into the modern world. Flint wasn't too sure but after being told that the Gym recently came last in a fashion contest, he did everything they suggested. But where are Flint and Brock's Mother? Why they've gone on a tropical vacation with Ludicolo and a Mime Jr! On the phone with his mother, she is insisting that they've won the trip as a reward for all the good things they've done in life.... like abandoning their family to travel the world and sell crack cocaine respectively. Brock roars that she took all the Gym's traditions and threw them away, and asks if she thought the kids were going to cook for themselves? She ignores the thing about the kids, and when he demands to know why they're taking Ludicolo, the Gay Pineapple Duck bursts into the video screen to happily wave, because it sure is shit is happy about getting to party on a resort island (no photography allowed!). Lola hangs up on them and they're handed tickets by.... Team Rocket!?! Yes Team Rocket are the mysterious remodellers, and Meowth tells them to think of their trip as a second honeymoon, causing the negligent parents to gape lovingly at each other. They get onboard the plane which takes off, leaving behind a relieved Team Rocket who thought they would never leave. With them gone, they can pocket the Pewter Pokémon for themselves, the rock types AND the water types as well! They can give them all to the Boss, and.... Oh god.... OH GOD! They fantasise about Giovanni getting massaged by a Geodude, chilling in the pool and happily declaring that Jesse, James and Meowth need "a rash of riches". But as they dance in celebration, Jesse wonders... why did headquarters put together money for the plane trip? James says it crossed his mind, but it if ain't broke, why fix it? Meowth agrees, this just shows how much faith Headquarters has in their brilliantly convoluted plan! Inside the Gym, Brock is upset about the concept of a Gym Fashion Section, and Max can't remember anything like it either in any of the magazines he reads. They step into the Gym and...... GRUH-RUUUUUUUHHH! Behind the door they step through lies a Steelix which crashes forward with a roar and hauls up Brock and grimaces at him. He stares up at it in shock, then is delighted to recognise it for what it is - his Onix! Only it isn't the Ga-Roaring Onix anymore, it's the Gruh-Ruuhing Steelix! Crobat, Geodude and Golem all surround him happily and when Brock learns that Steelix evolved under Forrest's watch, he laughs that his brother is becoming quite the breeder! But the Gym is a disaster, paint daubed everywhere for no reason, an art museum for lunatics, and the Pokémon hate it too. Brock decides to fix things up, but first.... dinner time! Yes Brock cooks for his poor abused Brocklings, while outside Team Rocket aren't sure what the twerps are doing there. James figures it is a junior Brock lookalike contest, and they finally figure out the Brocklings are Brock's siblings. Inside they're telling Brock about the remodellers and say one was a man, one a woman, and the other.... talked funny and looked weird! Outside, Jesse and James note that his disguise is a little lazy. Then they overhear Brock saying that he's going to have a little talk with the remodellers, and the Brocklings react by.... OH GOD! No wonder Flint did crack. Then out of nowhere, DELIBIRD! Yes the fat bird is back and hands over a package to Meowth, flying away, and they grab out... Pokeballs!?! But what is inside...? HOLY SHIT! It seems that Headquarters has sent them an Aggron and a Charizard, and big beefy tough looking ones as well! Jesse throws her hand up and begs James and Meowth to call on her to answer the question of what these Pokémon are doing here. Obviously Headquarters wants them to challenge and beat the twerps using them, and she breaks the fourth wall to giggle to the audience at home that she's sure they're well ahead of James and Meowth. They head back to Brock's house and burst in the door, and he comes sliding into the hall wearing his pink apron and singing out,"COOOOOOME INNNNNNN!" which takes them momentarily aback (No wonder Flint did Crack!). The Brocklings tell Brock they're the remodellers and Jesse and James tell him they know he wants the remodelling to stop. He agrees, the sooner the better, but they reply that a job left undone is a job left undone, and then Jesse shows some leg (well actually A LOT of leg) and demands a battle. She says it'll be a tag battle between two trainers and two Pokémon, and if they win he has to shut up. Ash offers to tag with Brock since it'll be a great warm up for the Battle Pyramid, and soon they're in the horribly remodelled Gym ready to begin. Brock chooses Steelix, Ash uses Donphan, and Team Rocket use Charizard and Aggron. Brock is impressed, but Ash isn't for some reason, surely even he can't be so dim that he doesn't remember how fucking hardcore Charizards are. He soon learns though when the Charizard BURNS THE FUCK OUT OF STEELIX! Donphan uses Takedown to knock Charizard back, so Aggron uses Megapunch to hit Donphan RIGHT IN THE FUCKING FACE and smash it into a rock, shattering it to pieces.... the rock, not Donphan! Steelix tries Bind but Charizard uses Firespin to knock it back, so Donphan tries Takedown only to get hit with Hyperbeam and sent crashing back into Steelix. Jesse and James laugh, then James bursts into tears, so happy to have been given a one way ticket out of loserville. Brock suggests a little change up, so Donphan uses Rollout, and Steelix follows. Charizard is hit and then Steelix uses Iron Tail right on Charizards face, before wrapping a Bind around it. Jesse insists James do something, and it uses Hyperbeam to knock Steelix down, then Charizard uses Flamethrower, but Steelix blocks and uses Dragonbreath to smash Charizard, and then Donphan uses Takedown and knocks it down to its knees. Jesse roars at James to do SOMETHING, so Aggron uses Water Pulse on Donphan to smash it into another rock. James decides to stick with what works and tries another Water Pulse, but Donphan uses Defence Curl as the water approaches, Steelix knocking it into the air with Iron Tail, the water hitting Steelix as Donphan smashes into Aggron. Watching Jesse and James fail even with such powerful Pokémon, Meowth realises it is up to him fix this mess. He heads off, followed by a suspicious Max who catches him in the act grabbing the Gym's Pokeballs and realising who he is when Meowth's helmet (complete with cute little pawprint!) falls off. Back at the battle, Charizard and Aggron try a Megapunch/Firespin combo, but Firespin hits Aggron and they turn to face each other angrily. James and Jesse start arguing..... their Pokémon doing the same and created the image of Aggron and Charizard yelling at each other with James and Jesse's voices! Ordering more attacks, the moves explode and blast out of the Gym, doing damage to nobody but themselves.... and Jesse and James' clothing! Reduced to ashes, the clothes break off to reveal that they are unfortunately clothed underneath, and finally the twerps recognise them for who they are! Meowth runs in clutching the Pokeballs, followed by Max who tells that he saw Meowth steal the Gym's Pokeballs. Meowth insists that Forrest not believe anything Max says, but Forrest has Geodude tackle Meowth and knock loose the balls. Completely revealed (but still now naked!), Team Rocket have no choice but to revel in their villainy, replying to Brock's accusations the only way they know how - with a motto! "Oh the annoyance of twerpish youth!" "An evil as old as the galaxy!" "Sent here to fulfil our destiny!" "Meowth dat's me!" "To denounce the evils of truth and love!" "To extend our reach to the stars above!" "Jesse!" "And it's James!" "Meowth's da name!" "Wherever there’s peace in the universe!" "Team Rocket!" "Will be dere!" "To make everything worse!" they finish together. "WOBBBBBB-UFFET!" "Mime Mime!" Brock roars they're all a disgrace, but then Forrest skids in front of him and takes the lead, yelling at Team Rocket that what they've done is unforgiveable, and has Geodude use Sandstorm..... and he ain't fucking around! Desperate, Jesse and James have Charizard and Aggron use Flamethrower and Hyperbeam, but Brock has Steelix dodge and use Iron Tail while Geodude uses Megapunch, and they smack the Pokémon right in the face and belly, knocking them down and out in front of a horrified Team Rocket. Pikachu uses Thunderbolt, Donphan Hyperbeam, Steelix Dragon Breath and Geodude Sandstorm to send Team Rocket blasting off again... with overkill! The Brocklings cheer, and Brock tells Forrest he is proud of the way he battled, and this tender family moment is unknowingly mocked by Ash, May and Max grinning so heavily that their squinty eyes look just like Brock's. An unspecified amount of time later, Flint and Lola return to an absolutely furious Brock who quickly fills them in on what has happened. They're horrified, insisting that had no idea it was Team Rocket. The twerps tell Brock to forgive them since they said sorry, despite the fact the couple have a history of horrible negligent abuse. He agrees but is still fuming, and tells them that if it ever happens again..... well it better not! Since Brock seems to be mollified, Lola decides to show off the gift she got him and... it's a girlfriend! Hauling out a horrifying abomination of a sex toy, she declares that he can take it wherever he goes and think of her! With that horrifying thought fresh in our brains, we shift to Team Rocket. It's night time now, and Team Rocket are hanging from the branches (so apparently Flint and Lola's expensive holiday lasted something like 2 days?). Meowth hugs desperately to James and they are relieved to hear Delibird approaching, but when it lands, Meowth translates that it only came to get the Pokeballs! It seems they were actually meant for Butch and Cassidy. Jesse snaps angrily about those "two boobs" (teehee) while Delibird happily insists that they now owe Headquarters money for the plane tickets too. It flies away and they scream they'll send a check, and it won't bounce.... HONEST! The next day, the twerps leave as the Brocklings, Lola and Flint wave goodbye with all of the Pokémon, wishing May luck at the Grand Festival. Who knows if Brock is bringing his "girlfriend" with him, but Ash only has one thing on his mind - the Battle Pyramid!
